Mr. Vuthisak Lermgijgarn, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City Chaired for the press release about the visit of MV DUOSLOS that was held in Pattaya City Hall. He was joined by the Captain of MV DUOLOS and his crew.
This time MV Duolos will moor in the Sattahip Commercial Port, during their visit. In June this year MV Duolous visited Phuket, and is scheduled to visit Bangkok from 28 September to 23 October this year.
MV Duolos is recorded in the “Guinness Book of Records” as the Worlds Oldest ship. Duolos. It was built only 2 years after the sinking of the Titanic. The ship is still able to ply the Oceans to the present time amazingly!
MV Duolos has visited more than 100 countries in Latin American, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Region during the past 28 yearsm and more than 18 million people have visited her. It will be such a pleasure to see her in Sattahip again…..
Another claim to her Fame is that she is the Worlds largest library, containing thousands of books, from many different fields such as Science, Sport, Hobbies, Textbooks, Recipes, Art, Philosophy, Christian Science and many Childrens Books in many languages. The ship has a strict policy not to display, or sell books on politics or pornography.
There are about 320 Christian volunteers from 40 countries on this extraordinary ship. These volunteers had dedicated their life to God, they each spend 2 years working on board the ship, with a Training Program designed to develop and create understanding, and to build good traditions, and culture. The MV Duolos’s crew will play a part in providing long term assistance to the needy in deprived and dangerous areas. Both Captain and crews work on the ship without pay, but they are supported by the Christian Churches, and their families.
