Pattaya City Hall cooperate with foreigner group who working in Pattaya to hold the 1st Pattaya International Beach Soccer to form the relationship and to create the good image to Pattaya.

          On 7 October, 2005 at Pattaya City Hall, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Wattana Chanthanawaranont presided over the announcement for the 1st Pattaya International Beach Soccer and Pattaya City Council member Pisai Panomwan Na Ayutthaya as the chairman of sub-committee of tourism and sport and together with football players from 8 countries as representatives.

          Mr. Wattana said that Pattaya City Hall will be organizing Pattaya International Beach Soccer during 21-25 December, 2005 at Hard Jomtien Stadium. There will be 8 teams participated in the event France, Holland, Belgium, Ireland, England, Germany, Denmark and Thailand.

          The aim of this event is to promote Pattaya in tourism and sport towards worldwide and also to promote the beach soccer; moreover, to promote exercise as well as to form the relationship between Pattaya City Hall and foreigners.
